Volunteer for a new Social Service Program in Killingworth. UR Community Cares has been given start-up funds from the Town, Sun Community, Emmanuel Church and St. Lawrence Church. More donations are need for a one-time security check and insurance for each participant.
Volunteers will be helping over-70 or disabled residents with house or yard work, transportation or companionship. You can select a job from your computer when you are available.
UR Community Cares has been adopted by over 50 Connecticut towns and the Clinton Police Department.
