First Selectman

The First Selectman is Killingworth’s chief executive and administrative officer, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the town, reviewing the current and future needs of the town and planning for their fulfillment, working on behalf of the town at the regional and state level, and ensuring that the town government adheres to our charter and complies with applicable laws and rules. The First Selectman serves as chairman of the Board of Selectmen, as police chief, and in other roles assigned by statute to the chief executive of the town.
