TOWN OF KILLINGWORTH
REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 17
BUDGET REFERENDUM
Notice is hereby given to all those eligible to vote at Town Meetings of the Town of Killingworth that a Regional School District No. 17 Budget Referendum by voting tabulators will be held on May 2, 2023, at the Killingworth Elementary School, 340 Route 81, Killingworth, CT 06419 for the following purpose:
To cast their votes on the Regional School District No. 17 budget in accordance with Section 10-51 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
A copy of the proposed budget recommended by the Regional School District No. 17 Board of Education is on file at the Killingworth Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 323 Route 81, Killingworth, CT 06419 and available online at www.rsd17.org .
The votes cast on the above questions will be “yes” for approval or ”no” for disapproval.

Pursuant C.G.S. 7-7, the polls must be open from 12 noon to 8:00 pm. The District Meeting will vote to open the polls from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Absentee ballots will be available to qualified persons in accordance with the Connecticut General Statutes at the Killingworth Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, 323 Route 81, Killingworth, CT 06419. Please contact the Town Clerk at 860-663-1765 x502 for further information.
