November 5, 2024, State Election

The Electors of the Town of Killingworth are hereby notified and warned to meet at their respective polling places in said town on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the following purposes:

REISSUE: CONSTRUCTION of PAVILION AT ERIC W. AUER PARK

The Town of Killingworth will receive sealed bids for the construction of a pavilion at Eric Auer Park (13 Parker Hill Road Ext. Killingworth), until August 12, 2024. Proposals will be opened in public and read aloud at a Board of Selectmen’s meeting that same evening at 7:00 p.m.

Notice of Republican Primary – State & District Offices

Notice is hereby given that a Primary of the Republican Party will be held in Killingworth on August 13, 2024 for nomination to the office listed below. Notice is also hereby given that the following are the names of the party-endorsed candidate(s), if any, for nomination to each office indicated, together with the street address of said candidate. The party endorsed candidate(s) are indicated by an asterisk. Additionally, the following are the names of all other candidates who have filed their certificates of eligibility and consent to primary or have satisfied the primary petitioning requirements in conformity with the General Statutes as candidates for nomination to each office indicated, together with the street addresses of said candidates.

Taxes Due July 1, 2024

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Killingworth, that the first installment of Real Estate and Personal Property taxes on the Grand List of October 1, 2023, is due and payable on July 1, 2024.  Motor Vehicle taxes are also due on July 1, 2024, in one installment.

Filing of Party-endorsed Candidates for ROV’s and JP’s

A certified list of Democratic and Republican party-endorsed candidates for the Town of Killingworth for election as Registrar of Voters will be on file with the Office of the Secretary of the State, 30 Trinity Street, Hartford, Connecticut, and copies thereof will be available for public distribution.
