The Town of Killingworth has received two speed feedback signs from UConn’s Training and Technical Assistance Center (T2 Center) as part of an effort to address speeding in the community. These signs will be going up on town roads this summer.

These signs do not issue tickets.

These signs do track data metrics that will allow us to better analyze the safety of the roadways such as average speeds, number of cars, and traffic patterns without any identifying information.

Our goal with these signs is to gather this data as part of the continuing effort to improve road safety and address speeding in the community while being mindful of the town’s resources, both time and financial.
