The Board of Selectmen charged a Fair Rent Committee on October 24, 2022, in accordance with the CT General Statutes, to conduct investigations and hearings and receive complaints regarding rental charges on housing units in Killingworth, including mobile manufactured homes/park lots, in order to control excessive rental charges.
Members of the Fair Rent Committee are appointed by the Board of Selectmen and meet on an as-needed basis.
