The Town of Killingworth will receive sealed bids for street sweeping services. This is a 3-year bid, FY 2026/27, 2027/28 and 2028/29 with an option to renew for an additional 2 years .
Proposal documents will be available on Friday, August 14, 2026 and may be obtained on the Town’s website, www.townofkillingworth.com, under “Bid and RFPS” or from the Selectmen’s Office, Killingworth Town Hall, 323 Route 81, Killingworth CT 06419 for a non-refundable $25 per bid package.
Bids will be received at the Killingworth Town Hall until Monday, September 14, 2026 at 4:00. Proposals will be opened in public and read aloud at a Board of Selectmen’s meeting to be held that evening.
The Town of Killingworth reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a bid, reject all bids, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a bid, and award the bid to the bidder that, in the Town’s judgment, will be in the Town’s best interests.
Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and are encouraged to do so. The Town of Killingworth is an Affirmative Action/EOE.
