The Town of Killingworth is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purpose of soliciting the services of qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending June 2022, 2023 and 2024.
All sealed proposals will be accepted at the First Selectman’s Office until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 and will be opened and read aloud in public that evening’s Board of Finance meeting to be held at 7 p.m. No FAX or EMAIL proposals will be accepted.
Interested firms may obtain copies of the RFP specifications from the municipal website www.townofkillingworth.com under “Public Notices” or by contacting Elizabeth Disbrow, Administrative Assistant, 323 Route 81, Killingworth CT 06419 or by calling (860) 663-1765 ext. 501 for a non-refundable fee of $25.
A virtual Bidders’ Conference will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. No questions posed after the bidders’ conference will be addressed. Log in information can be found on the town website (see above).
The Town of Killingworth reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town’s judgment, will be in the Town’s best interests. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and are encouraged to do so. The Town of Killingworth is an Affirmative Action/EOE.
